On this episode, I’m joined by Melanie Nadeau. Hailing from Port Cartier in Northern Quebec, as a kid Melanie loved the outdoors, was a good student, and an accomplished athlete. With all that talent, she was keen to find adventure outside of her small town, so she joined the Navy. After five years in uniform she was onto the next challenge at the University of Waterloo where she studies environmental engineering. After a short detour to Northern Ireland, she graduated and started her professional journey which eventually landed her as the Chief Executive Officer of COVE, a company focused on the commercializations of marine technology.
Our partner for this episode, and a member of the Veteran Volunteerism Initiative, is The Veteran Farm Project. As a part of the NSP’s continued effort to support veteran business and charities, listen to how serving and women veterans can help fight food insecurities.
